Independent travel agency Olive Lounge Travel will host an exclusive performance by popstar Sinitta as part of the launch of their new Barrowford branch in Lancashire.
Olive Lounge Travel won a Jet2holidays social media competition for independent travel agencies, which were asked to post a message online to support the So Macho singer.
The agency, first established in Crosshills, West Yorkshire, in 2015 by Gillian Polyhos and Joanne Edwards, this month opened a second branch in Barrowford, Lancashire having tripled their number of staff in three years.
Edwards said: “We have enjoyed enormous success since launching three years ago and continue to grow every day. In the beginning we never dreamed we would have a second branch in such a short amount of time, but we have had to keep up with demand as Crosshills was at capacity.”
To celebrate the launch, the pair will welcome Sinitta to the Barrowford branch on October 10.
Polyhos added: “We’re grateful to Jet2holidays for the way they have supported us as a partner since day one. We’re really looking forward to opening in Barrowford, and locals are welcome to visit our new branch where they can see Sinitta in action.”
The event is taking place at The Lounge Barrowford, from 7pm to 10pm. Admission is by ticket only, and these must be applied for in the store, or by entering Olive Travel Lounge’s own social media competition on its Facebook page.
