Jet2.com and Jet2holidays in biggest ever recruitment drive

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has announced plans to recruit for more than 3,000 jobs across the UK and Europe.

More than 2,000 jobs will be located across the company’s nine UK bases – 100 pilots are wanted for flight deck, 1,000 cabin crew roles are up for grabs and 1,000 ground operations roles will be advertised.

There are also more than 1,000 positions available across Europe with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays. Of these, 500 are in ground operations roles in Spain and Portugal, such as customer helpers, ramp agents and dispatchers at airports including Palma (Majorca), Alicante, Malaga and Faro.

More than 450 jobs will be in customer helper positions across Europe while more than 300 new roles will be created in Jet2holidays’ Free Resort Flight Check-in service overseas

A nationwide roadshow throughout September will support a the recruitment drive where jobseekers can meet Jet2.com staff to find out all about the roles.

Jet2.com is to increase capacity by 12% for summer 19, with more than 12 million seats on sale. Three new destinations (Bourgas in Bulgaria, Izmir in Turkey and Chania in Crete) will be launched, taking the number of weekly flights to 1,200 to 58 destinations during the peak season.
