Emissions-free Tesla cars introduced by global chauffeur transfers firm

Transfers firm Blacklane is introducing emissions-free chauffeured rides in 20 cities across the world.

The company’s new ‘green class’ features Tesla Model S and Model X vehicles.

They are being made available in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Dublin and London together with global locations including Adelaide, Amsterdam, Auckland, Austin, Basel, Denver, Hong Kong, Lisbon, Milan, Montreal, Munich, Paris, Phoenix, Sydney and Zurich.

The new environmentally friendly class expands the company’s fleet beyond its current business class, business SUV and first class available in 260 cities.

Blacklane will extend green class to new cities as local chauffeurs add more qualifying vehicles to their fleets,

Co-founder and CEO Jens Wohltorf said: “We welcome battery-electric chauffeur-quality vehicles from all premium automakers to our fleet.

“Supporting business and leisure travellers with green travel options is essential to a healthy planet.

“We are proud to combine zero emissions with the vehicle comfort, quiet and performance that passengers expect.”
