Voyages to Antiquity names new partnerships manager

A new partnerships manager has been recruited by Voyages to Antiquity to push UK sales growth.

Amy Sykes moves to the cultural cruise line from City Sightseeing, where she was global partnerships manager.

In her new role, she will oversee management of UK travel trade accounts, special interest groups and business partnerships.

The Oxford-based position has been created to further strengthen the line’s commitment to working with the travel trade.

The new role will enable global head of commercial Michelle Daniels to concentrate on international business from Australia and New Zealand and drive further growth from the US and Canada.

Sykes will also oversee and develop the company’s in-house developed video training platform, vtaexpert.com, which has also now been launched globally.

Voyages to Antiquity managing director, Jos Dewing, said: “I’m thrilled to welcome Amy aboard. Her impressive track record and personality brings valuable experience and abilities to our team.

“She will manage an integral and growing part of the business and we look forward to nurturing our commitment to working with the travel trade and partnerships, which now accounts for around 60% of our business, and growing our vibrant network of new partners under her leadership.”
