Swine flu: Mexico searches plunge on Gazetteers.com

The swine flu epidemic is having a knock-on effect on the search ratings of Mexico on Gazetteers.

During March, Mexico was the ninth most searched country by agents looking to sell holidays to clients. However, the country has dropped to 23rd most searched country since swine flu first hit the headlines.

Turkey is still the most searched destination by agents for customers who are looking to avoid the eurozone. The other top four are consistently Spain, Greece, Egypt and Cyprus.

The online information service from the TWgroup provides exclusive reviews and online destination information for agents.
