Three sales staff leave Attraction World following consultations

Three members of Attraction World’s sales team have left the business after nine members of staff were put under consultation.

Head of sales Simon Garrido, national account manager Tracey Bartam and account manager Amanda Schofield no longer work at the company.

A spokeswoman for Attraction World said the rest of the sales team remains in place.

Schofield has been appointed key account manager for central and east UK at Bedsonline.

Group chief executive Paul Stobbs had said a review “of the most effective ways of working with strategic partners necessitated (us) entering into a period of consultation with employees”.

The theme park and attraction ticket specialist completed a £6.9 million management buyout in 2010 after its senior management team including then managing director Stobbs and sales and marketing director Tony Seaman secured external investment.

Tom Bell, regional manager, north and central UK & Ireland at Bedsonline, added: “Amanda has excellent experience in our sector from her time with TravelCube in particular and she’s a great addition to our sales team.”
