Globus debuts in Cosmos’ 2019 North America brochure

Cosmos’ new premium brand Globus features for the first time in the operator’s 2019 North America brochure which introduces a range of tours.

In total, 45 itineraries are featured in the new brochure while a further 45 are offered online.

The brochure is split, with the first half focused on Cosmos tours and the second half offering Globus tours, which also includes, for the first time in the UK, the Escapes by Globus brand.

It features four new Cosmos tours to the US and three new Globus tours to the US.

Globus tours offer more inclusions than Cosmos, and premium, centrally located hotels. The Escapes by Globus tours are the same as Globus but are run in the off-peak months between the end of October and start of April, are sold at a lower price point and offer more rooms without single supplements.

Sales director Janet Parton said: “The brochure makes it very clear what the differences are in the brands and we think there will be an upsell opportunity for agents.

“There are destinations offered by both Cosmos and Globus if agents want to upsell them.”

The new Cosmos tours are: Highlights of the Canyonlands, from £1,469; America’s Greatest Treasures, from £2,335; Essential Hawaii, from £2,265; and Grand Alaskan Adventure, from £2,529. The new Globus tours are: Exploring America’s Great Parks, from £3,769; New England & the Hudson Valley, from £3,225; and Spirit of the American Wild West, from £2,929. The Escapes by Globus tour is America’s Canyonlands Escape from £1,889.

Although the brochure mainly focuses on the US and Canada it also previews itineraries in South America, Europe and other long-haul destinations.

As part of the launch, the operator is offering a £49 inbound flight upgrade on all bookings made before August 15 and a £99 deposit for 2019 US and Canada tour bookings.
