Youth operator Contiki has appointed Becky Francis as its new head of sales for the UK & Europe.
Francis has been with the company for more than a year as sales manager for London and the south east. Previously she worked for Thomas Cook’s youth brand Club 18-30 for four years and she has also had experience as a travel advisor for Barrhead Travel in Newcastle.
She replaces Laura Brown, who has left the company.
Francis will manage a team of four sales managers in the UK and two in Europe. The current UK sales managers are: Liz Swallow in the Midlands and Wales; Amanda Pezzaniti for London and the south west; and James Lavin covering the north, Scotland and Ireland. A new sales manager is being recruited for the south east and London to replace Francis.
She said: “I’m very excited to be taking on this new role at Contiki, and to continue supporting our valued agent partners to drive their sales within the booming youth travel sector.”
