Travel TV is offering agents free training in its system after teaming up with Training For Travel.
Following the deal, TFT will send more than 20 of its assessors to around 400 travel agencies where they will hold a 15-minute training course designed to show agents how to get the best out of Travel TV which offers 300 channels promoting destinations and products.
As part of the deal, TFT will also be given two channels of its own to promote its free online NVQ, Technical Certificate, Skills for Life, apprenticeship and training courses.
Travel TV sales and marketing director Martin Lomax said: “A number of agency owners and managers have contacted us to say that they love the system but that they do not have the internal resources to train staff and therefore maximise its use.
“This agreement with Training For Travel addresses that need by providing a brief, professional introduction to Travel TV and its capabilities.”
TFT’s commercial director Beverley Platt added “The system is largely intuitive so once you’re up and running it’s quite easy to operate which means only relatively brief introductory training session is required.”
