Palladium Hotel Group unveils contemporary luxury brand

Spanish group Palladium Hotel Group is expanding under a new contemporary luxury brand, Bless Collection Hotels.

The first new property, a 111-room hotel, is due to open in Madrid in November followed by a property in Ibiza in summer 2019.

The company has signed a management contract with investment groups, Grupo Didra and AINA Capital, for the hotel in the centre of the Spanish capital.

The Madrid hotel will feature a rooftop pool, spa and gym, gourmet restaurant by Michelin-star Basque chef, Martin Berasategui, three bars and conference spaces.

Palladium, which has 48 hotels in six countries, plans a series of new hotels in the next few months, including further international expansion.

Key design features of the Bless brand will include ‘sensory architecture’ that will define the hotel ambience, collaborative work spaces, social areas and charge points, according to the company.

Expansion will focus on stylish districts in cosmopolitan cities and premium beach holiday destinations.

CEO Abel Matutes said: “We are moving at a pace to roll-out the development of new brand ‘Bless Collection Hotels’ with the first property planned to open in Madrid in November 2018, followed by Ibiza in summer 2019.

“The new upscale brand will leverage our position in the premium market and draws on our existing experience within the luxury and lifestyle sector.

“The concept of ‘contemporary luxury’ is aimed at an ever-growing ‘bleisure’ demographic looking for a combination of business and leisure including convenience, premium services, high tech facilities, strong design credentials and super-fast wi-fi as well as state-of-the-art health and wellbeing services and excellent gastronomy.”
