Flybe boosts 2018 summer schedule

Flybe is adding capacity over the October school half term while expanding its summer schedule.

A total of 28 flights are being added to 11 routes over the week starting on October 20.

Extra Saturday flights will run from Exeter, Manchester, Birmingham and Southampton to destinations including Paris.

A fourth daily flight will run between Exeter and Manchester between July 2 and October 27.

Manchester also gains additional frequency to Luxembourg over the same period.

Flybe chief commercial officer Roy Kinnear said: “We’re pleased to offer our customers the added choice on our summer schedule from some of our key airports. It highlights our commitment to listening to our customers’ needs especially for peak travel times such as half term, when families are keen to take a short affordable break before winter sets in.

“The frequency we have added between Exeter and Manchester reflects the increasing awareness our passengers have about our regional hub at Manchester airport.

“All those travelling into Manchester have the opportunity to benefit from seamless domestic, European and worldwide connections not only through our extended Flybe network, but also as a fast and more convenient connection for onward long-haul travel with our many airline partners.”
