Jon Morhous promoted to chief experience officer at Flight Centre

John Morhous has been promoted to the newly-created role of chief experience officer for global business travel brands at Flight Centre Travel Group.

He will be responsible for client-facing innovation and digital mobile platforms, developing additional tools and technology and “thought leadership” across all the group’s corporate travel units.

Morhous steps up from his position as chief strategy officer for corporate brands in the Americas, including FCM Travel Solutions, Stage and Screen, cievents and Corporate Traveler.

FCTG’s corporate network serves organisations of all sizes across dozens of industries in more than 90 countries.

Morhous’ appointment into the role comes after the development of many technology-driven brand enhancements that he has overseen in previous roles within FCTG.

He joined the Australian group in 2007 as IT director with FCM Travel Solutions. He was then appointed chief information officer of the brand and was an integral part of the expansion and growth of the FCM Travel Solutions globally.

Morhous has led corporate and digital marketing, as well as corporate product teams in the US.
