Faremine strengthens sales team with appointment of national account manager

Online flight reservations system Faremine has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Emma Taylor as national account manager.

Taylor was previously sales manager at escorted touring operator Tauck and has also worked for The Cruise Portfolio and Mundy Cruising.

She will report to Chris Oakes, who joined Faremine as head of sales in October 2017, and will focus on strengthening the company’s nationwide presence and developing its support for trade partners.

Jamil Malik, Faremine managing director, said: “Emma has over 20 years’ experience in the travel industry and is an exceptionally professional trade expert.

“She will be an excellent ambassador for Faremine, to increase awareness and sales and create solid relationships with agencies, predominantly in the south.”

He added: “Her key role will be to support our valued agents, ensuring they access and experience the very best Faremine can offer.

“She will also be listening to agents’ needs, enabling us to continue to develop our services and system functionality to provide exactly what they require for success of their businesses.”

Oakes said: “The expansion of our sales team gives us a robust support network vital to providing the high levels of customer contact and support we pride ourselves on delivering to our agents and tour operators.

“We are delighted to have Emma on board and we are now in the process of contacting and visiting agents over the next few weeks, so get the kettle on!”
