Celebrity Cruises reveals details of spa on new ship Edge

Celebrity Cruises has unveiled details about the spa on Celebrity Edge six months ahead of the ship’s launch and is giving agents the chance to nominate someone to win a spa pack.

The spa, designed by Kelly Hoppen, will have 31 therapists working across 23 treatment rooms, including one couples’ suite. Hoppen has also overseen the design of Edge’s suites.

The spa will house the line’s first Sea Thermal Suite, offering eight therapeutic experiences using a “sea, earth and air concept”.

Passengers will be able to choose from options inspired by Celebrity’s ‘Sea’ concept, which each end with sound therapy. The three Sea treatments are the Salt Stone Therapy, Elemis Thousand Flower Detox Wrap and Thai Herbal Poultice Massage.

The spa will also offer passengers access to Celebrity’s first collection of Elemis Biotec facials, using advanced facial technology to help increase the skin’s natural cellular energy.

Eight Biotec skin therapies that focus on anti-ageing, skin pigmentation, skin brightening and regular care will be available.

Celebrity claims the spa will have the first Kerastase Institute at sea, while the Fitness Center will offer hot yoga, Technogym Group Cycle and cardio boxing.
