Extra winter capacity is being laid on by Norwegian between Gatwick and New York JFK.
An additional daily Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight will give the low-cost carrier three departures a day to JFK.
This will result in up to 392 premium seats and 1,974 economy seats a week added from October 29.
Fares start at £155 one way in economy and £455 in premium.
The new flight will leave Gatwick at 9.50am and land at JFK at 1pm local time with the return departing New York at 7.40pm and landing at Gatwick at 7.10am the following day.
Combined with an existing 6am morning departure from Gatwick, which lands at JFK at 9.20am local time, travellers can take day trips to New York.
