Travel Weekly team put best feet forward for charity on Carnival Horizon

Travel Weekly’s Stuart Parish and Lucy Huxley put their best feet forward for charity and ran around new ship Carnival Horizon 66 times between them.

They were joined by Clia UK and Ireland director Andy Harmer and Carnival Cruise Line’s vice president for UK and international sales, Iain Baillie in Rome last week.

Huxley and Baillie ran 5K, while Parish and Harmer went the extra mile and ran 10K each in 30 degree heat.

The group was raising money for Travel Weekly’s nominated charity for 2018, the Teenage Cancer Trust, and is one of a number of fundraising events planned throughout the year.

Parish is also taking part in the Fleet Half Marathon on Sunday and a team of staff members will compete in a Tough Mudder challenge on September 29.
