Viking River Cruises has joined the Bringing Real Information and Guaranteed High Quality Training consortium.
The new operator brings the number of BRIGHT members to 11 which includes tourist boards as well as cruise lines and tour operators. The independent consortium runs training evenings for travel agents across the country and this week is embarking on a series of roadshows.
Viking River Cruises chairman Graham Clubb said: “We are proud to join BRIGHT which is dedicated and committed to the independent travel trade. The organisation has a very good reputation in the industry and fits our profile nicely.
“We see this as a valuable opportunity to meet key agents and further our relationship with the travel trade. Our programme is high quality and the river cruising market is certainly growing - we want to show the travel agents how to sell more.
Joint Bright chairman Darren Panto said: “We have members representing a broad spectrum of products and regions of the world and are confident that our members will attract top quality agents to our roadshows.”
