Norwegian cuts transatlantic fares in St Patrick’s Day flash sale

Flights to the US for less than £150 one-way are being offered in a St Patrick’s Day flash sale by low-cost carrier Norwegian.

All 12 long-haul routes from Gatwick feature in the promotion which runs from today until Monday (March 19).

Travel can be taken between April 15-May 31 and September 5-October 31.

Rates from Gatwick start at £144.90 one-way to Boston, Chicago and New York while transatlantic flights from Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland lead-in at £119.90/€124.90.

Prices rise to £154.90 to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando; £169.90 to Austin, Denver, Seattle and Singapore; £174.90 to Los Angeles; £189.90 to Orlando and £289.90 to Buenos Aires.

Chief commercial officer Thomas Ramdahl said: “With our St Patrick’s Day sale passengers won’t need the ‘luck of the Irish’ to bag a bargain flight to the USA.

“With further savings on long-haul routes from the UK and Ireland, Norwegian are continuing to make US travel even more affordable for thousands of British and Irish passengers.”

Norwegian carries more than 5.8 million UK passengers a year to more tnan 50 global destinations.
