Finnair is to return with a weekly Gatwick service to Kittilä in Lapland next winter following a successful first season.

Flights will operate on Sundays between December 16 and March 24, 2019.

The route gives access to Finland’s largest ski resort, Levi, and the nearby area of Ylläs which consists of two original Lappish villages.

The outbound flight will depart London Gatwick at 9am arriving in Kittilä at 2.25pm. The return will depart Kittilä at 6.40am arriving at Gatwick at 8.10am.

Frequencies are also being added from Helsinki to popular destinations for winter 2018-19, including Tokyo and Nagoya in Japan.
