Pierre & Vacances and Family Holiday Association launch travel industry ski challenge

Competitors are being sought as Pierre & Vacances partners with Family Holiday Association to host the first travel industry ski challenge.

The event is to take place on April 21-24 in Les Arcs and is open to all travel companies.

Contestants will participate in fun challenges such as tobogganing, slalom races and crossing a snow park waterslide, before karaoke sessions.

Activities are being designed to suit a wide range of ski and snowboard abilities.

Attendees will be free to spend the first day exploring the 200km of pistes in the ski area of Les Arcs, from the glacier of the Aiguille Rouge at over 3,000m, to the Savoyard villages of Villaroger and Peisy Vallandry.

They will then compete in teams of four people to win a travel industry ski challenge prize. All challenges are suitable for each level of skier or snowboarder and will have ‘soft options’ to ensure access is suitable for everyone.

The event will raise money for the Family Holiday Association.

Participation starts at £199 per person based on three sharing a two-bedroom apartment that sleeps up to six people.

The price includes a three-night self-catered stay at Pierre & Vacances’ Premium Residence Arc 1950 Le Village in Arc 1950, two group dinners, two-day lift pass and transfers from Geneva.
