Co-operative Travel Consortium names new business development manager

The Co-operative Travel Consortium has appointed Dale Marriott to the newly created role of business development manager.

Marriott joins from Jet2holidays where he was senior sales executive for six years.

He has previously worked for Thomas Cook in retail and as an entertainment manager.

Marriott starts his new role on March 12 and will be tasked with raising the profile of the consortium and recruiting new members.

He will report into head of consortium Alison Holmes.

Holmes said: “I’m really pleased Dale is joining the team and I look forward to working with him. He’s a real positive, energetic person, who is very popular with independent agents, so I am confident Dale will be a real asset to the business as we look to increase our agent partners and continue to offer full support to our existing members.”

Members of the consortium, which is part of Midcounties Co-operative Travel, were notified of Marriott’s appointment this week.
