Travel Weekly sets £25,000 target for Teenage Cancer Trust

Travel Weekly Group is aiming to raise £25,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust in 2018.

Donations made at the group’s portfolio of events throughout the year, including the Agent Achievement Awards, the Hall of Fame and the Travolution Awards, will go towards the charity.

More than £12,000 has already been raised from this year’s Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards, held last month, smashing previous amounts raised at the event. Travel Weekly has previously supported charities including Abta Lifeline, Just a Drop and Reuben’s Retreat.

The Teenage Cancer Trust runs specialist units dedicated to young people with cancer. About seven people aged 13 to 24 are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK.

Members of the Travel Weekly team will also be taking part in fundraising events.

Managing director Stuart Parish has already completed the first of numerous challenges, running 160km in January. This month he will be running a 10km race and a half-marathon.
