New York and Orlando top the list of most popular Virgin Atlantic destinations this Christmas.
The other most popular points are Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Friday is set to be the busiest departure day with the airline carrying more than 15,000 passengers to over 30 destinations.
More than 140,000 will be flown by the carrier between December 22 and January 1.
Travellers in all cabins on December 25 will be served a full Christmas dinner while those flying on December 31 will receive a mini bottle of Lanson champagne.
Executive vice president of customer, Mark Anderson said: “For those travelling on Christmas Day itself, they won’t be missing out on festive cheer.
“Our crew will be offering a full Christmas dinner with turkey and all the trimmings plus special mince pie chocolates and yule logs onboard.
“If customers are lucky enough to be heading off at new year, we’ll be celebrating in style with Lanson champagne for all our customers when the bell tolls midnight.”
