Regional sales manager for trade Helen Parry is to leave Jet2holidays to start her own travel agency.
Her new agency, Arundel Travel, will open in Leeds on December 16 and operate as a Jet2holidays booking centre.
Parry had worked at Jet2holidays since 2013 and before then had roles at Tui.
Alan Cross, head of trade at Jet2holidays, said: “Helen was a great member of the team. We’re sad to see her go, but wish her every success in the future.
“We hope she takes everything she’s learned at Jet2holidays into her new business.”
Jet2holidays has begun recruiting for a new regional sales manager.
At the operator’s Partnerships2Success conference in Tenerife, chief executive Steve Heapy said there were plans to increase the size of Jet2holidays’ trade team.
