An expanded agency sales team will be taking to the road for escorted tours operator Titan from this month.
Six on the road sales executives will be supporting agents with personal product training and regional events.
Tracy Meldrum will work in Scotland promoting Titan’s regional flying options from Scottish airports.
She brings with her 10 years of industry experience, having worked for Barrhead Travel, Holidayplease and Travel-pa, as well as being a home worker for Hays Travel.
Sharon Tait returns from maternity leave and will cover eastern England on a part-time basis. Adam Deane, who initially provided maternity leave cover, will now be a permanent member of the team covering central UK and Ireland.
The trio join the current team of sales executives – Louise Sword (south-east), Emily Parkes (north) and Michelle Halsey (south-west).
Along with office staff – agency sales manager Edwina Coppock, trade executives Alana Jones and Ellie Sandys – Titan will have its biggest ever trade team.
Coppock said: “The extra investment in staff is a testament to the success of the trade channel, and the vital importance of our agent partners.
“I am very privileged to have such a loyal, dedicated team who are passionate about Titan.
“Nearly all of us have been agents ourselves so we understand the role and everyday problems. Now we will be able to offer more support than ever before.”
