Forty travel agents sailed on board P&O ship Ventura for a three-night fam trip with the cruise line.
The majority of the agents won their place on the trip through a ‘say what you see’ competition earlier this year as part of the P&O Cruises Partnership Team training programme.
Agents shared pictures on the reasons P&O Cruises is tailored to British tastes. Five additional spaces were awarded at the CLIA conference in May.
While on board the short break to Bruges, agents experienced shore excursions in the historic Belgian city and speciality dining in Food Hero Atul Kochhar’s Sindhu restaurant. There were also training sessions highlighting the P&O Cruises brand and Ventura and agents met wine expert Olly Smith who introduced them to the new The Glass House wine menu, which will be launching in November.
P&O Cruises vice president of sales and distribution Alex White said: “This fam trip was a great way to give our agents the chance to experience first-hand what they sell daily to our guests. The training sessions and onboard activities provided them great brand familiarity as well as a taste of what their clients experience on a P&O Cruises holiday.”
