Attraction World has appointed Simon Garrido as head of sales.
Garrido, who was formerly head of trade sales at Monarch before its collapse, started his new role yesterday (Nov 6).
His appointment follows the departure of sales and marketing director Nick Hughes who is joining dnata as B2B sales director on November 27.
Garrido spent seven years at Monarch and has previously held roles at the Global Travel Group, Avis and Shearings.
Attraction World managing director Simon Applebaum said: “I’m delighted to be able to announce Simon’s appointment. His vast experience, analytical approach and appreciation for the Attraction World brand ethos really stood out and with the most recent additions to our expanded trade sales team making an immediate impact.
