Olympic Holidays has appointed Ricky Wason as head of purchasing.
He joins from dnata Travel where he was senior purchasing manager for Middle East, Indian Ocean and Africa.
He will report to chief executive Claire Tobin and be based in the company’s north London office.
Wason was previously general manager of short-haul product and purchasing for Stella Travel Services and regional manager in Greece for First Choice.
Meanwhile, Hans Kirk has been promoted to the new role of purchasing manager, based in Crete. Kirk has been with Olympic Holidays since 2004 in a number of roles, most recently as regional manager.

“This is an important time for Olympic Holidays as we shape the future direction and focus of the business. Both bring a wealth of contracting experience, specialist product knowledge and strong relevant relationships to the company.
“They will form a key part of the strategy the team and I are putting in place to cement the way forward for Olympic Holidays in the coming weeks, months and years.”
