Landal GreenParks to open third UK park in 2018

Luxury back-to-nature brand Landal GreenParks has revealed plans for a third park in the UK for 2018.

Landal Gwel an Mor on Cornwall’s north coast will join existing parks Landal Darwin Forest on the edge of the Peak District National Park and Landal Kielder Waterside, set in Northumberland’s Kielder Water & Forest Park.

Hoseasons parent Wyndham Worldwide announced plans to roll out the upmarket family holiday brand Landal GreenParks in the UK in March this year and opened the two existing parks under the Landal brand.

Holland-based Landal GreenParks has 85 parks across Europe, including in the Netherlands, Germany and Austria, and plans to have up to 15 parks in the UK by 2020-2025.

Gwel an Mor, the brand’s first coastal park in the UK, will open for trade bookings through sister brand Hoseasons later this year. It was previously sold as part of Hoseasons’ range of UK holiday parks.

Simon Altham, of Hoseasons, said: “We are delighted to have entered into this long-term partnership with the park.

“The fact that it is the brand’s first coastal location in the UK is great news for customers, but also gives agents another impressive option when looking to capitalise on increased demand for high quality UK breaks.”

Activities offered at the park include feeding foxes, rock pooling, night fauna walks and falconry.

All three parks offer luxury lodge accommodation with hot tubs and already the two existing parks have enjoyed a 25% growth in bookings compared with sales of the parks’ lodges last year.

A four-night short break for a family of four at Landal Gwel an Mor next year will cost from £395.
