Touring and adventure holiday aggregator Tour Hound has become the latest associate member of the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers.
Tour Hound acts as an aggregator of content, driving consumers and agents to tour operators’ websites or generating leads to their call centres.
Its website is due to go live in mid-October before a full launch in November.
Joanne Smethurst, commercial director, said: “TourHound is a new and innovative platform which will change the way both consumers and agents search through the minefield of choice for their preferred tour.
“There are fewer more obvious partnerships than Atas and TourHound as, not only are they both aligned with the participating operators in their objective to source new business, they share a common goal to provide a platform which painlessly assists travel agents in sourcing the ideal tour for their clients.”
Atas launched in April, with the aim of raising trade awareness and driving sales within the touring and adventure sector.
The association currently has 26 core supplier members, and will hold its inaugural conference in Birmingham in October.
