Flybe is to maintain an air link between London City airport and the west country this winter.
The regional carrier confirmed today that weekend flights between Exeter and from London City will continue operating on Saturdays and Sundays through to March 2018 with more convenient timings to better suit leisure travel.
An enhanced schedule from Exeter also includes extra flights for Christmas and February school half term to Paris Charles de Gaulle and to Newcastle to meet demand over the holiday periods.
The airline will run a total of 17 routes from Exeter as part of its winter schedule with up to 101 flights a week.
The timetable includes routes to the winter sun destinations of Alicante, Faro and Malaga and Saturday ski flights to Chambery and Geneva from December.
