Intrepid Group has hired Philippa Baines as business development manager for the Midlands as it expands its on-the-road team in the UK.
Baines will be visiting agents across the Midlands to assist with training, enquiries and bookings.
She has previous experience as a travel agent and as a BDM for The Global Travel Group, Explore Worldwide and most recently for Wendy Wu Tours.
Baines said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Intrepid team and can’t wait to get out on the road to share its inspiring worldwide adventures with travel agents. Small group responsible travel is such a fast-growing market and I’m looking forward to becoming part of such a trade friendly, and forward thinking company.”
She will be hosting Intrepid Travel’s upcoming fam trip to Costa Rica from November 30 to December 8, for which the operator is taking applications via its trade website – IntrepidLovesAgents.com.
