Glasgow airport seeks public help to reunite lost cuddly toys with their owners

Glasgow airport is asking the public help it reunite lost cuddly toys with their owners.

A ‘Take Care of my Bear’ tag is being introduced to be given out to any child travelling from the airport with a soft toy.

The tags are available at check-in and can be marked with the owner’s details.

Every year hundreds of teddies and soft toys are lost when travelling through the airport.

More than 20 soft toys have been left behind at the airport or on flights to Glasgow in the last three months.

The airport will be posting a gallery of pictures and a video line-up of lost cuddly toys on its social media channels to try to reunite them with their owners.

An airport spokesman said: “We’re doing everything we can to make sure more bears don’t get mislaid which is why we’re introducing our new teddy bear tags.”
