Clia has today announced the dates for its 12th annual conference in 2018 which will be held in Southampton on May 23 – 25.
The event will feature a trade fair, gala dinner and a full day’s conference with speakers from the UK and global cruise industry. The event will also allow agents to network with Clia member cruise lines, and to experience Oceania Cruises’ Marina; Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess and Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Silhouette.
Registration for the event will open on September 27. Further announcements will also be made regarding keynote speakers and the theme of the conference later in the year.
Andy Harmer, senior vice president for membership and director for Clia UK and Ireland, said: “The conference is the largest travel agent event in the UK and is an opportunity to bring the whole cruise community together.
“The Clia Conference provides agents with the chance to learn about industry updates and trends, hear from key speakers sharing knowledge about their area of specialism and meet face to face with cruise line representatives and industry partners to better educate themselves and to help to grow their business.”
