Broadway Travel Group set to unveil rebrand at 2017 overseas conference

The Broadway Travel Group will unveil a rebrand and new website at this year’s annual summit in Rhodes as it celebrates its 70th year in business.

The event, will be held at the five star Sheraton Rhodes, in Rhodes town, on October 11-14. It is the ninth year that the group has held an overseas conference,

Over 130 delegates have registered to attend including Broadway staff, all members of the Broadway Travel Consortium, key suppliers and media partners.

The theme of this year’s conference is ‘A New Wave’, reflecting plans to launch the firm’s rebrand and new website at the conference.

Jill Mitchell, chief operating officer of Broadway Travel Group, said: “All of our conference sessions are open to every delegate making the whole event fully inclusive to all.

“We will continue our customer centricity theme introduced last year, which is an integral part of the group’s three-year strategy, with some exciting key speakers to be announced in the next few weeks.”

Mitchell added: “We are excited about 2018, as we will celebrate 70 years of Broadway Travel. There are not many other current travel brands which have been around as long as we have.

“We have grown the business profitably and consistently over a very long period and have some exciting and aggressive growth plans for the group in 2018.

“Following the conference, we will roll out our rebrand and new website to both our staff and customers as for the first time this year we are videoing all sessions to be delivered back to our teams in the UK and India to make the conference fully inclusive of our whole team.”

Intriguingly, the final night of the conference is being themed of ‘50 Shades of Blue’, although no other details have been released. “All will be revealed at the conference,” said Mitchell.
