Princess Cruises will host 300 agents on Royal Princess in May 2018 – its largest ever fam-trip sailing.

The cruise, an 12-night British Isles voyage, will give agents the opportunity to experience the ‘Ocean Medallion’ wearable device which launches from November this year.

The ‘Medallion Mega Fam’ is open to all agents in the UK. To apply agents need to make a 2018/19 Princess booking between September 1 and October 31, and enter code INNO18. From November 1 to November 30, agents can apply by completing an online Ocean Medallion training course via onesourcecruises.com.

The 300 agents can join one of five legs of the sailing with departures from Southampton, Dublin, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Ocean Medallion was unveiled earlier this year and will automatically provide information to guests during their cruise to give a more personalised onboard experience. It will also give guests real time information about onboard activities and allow groups to locate members of their party.

In addition to experiencing the Medallion, Princess will offer agents specialty dining, cocktail parties, a behind the scenes tour, live entertainment and free onboard spending money.

Princess Cruises’ director of sales for UK & Ireland, Rachel Poultney, said: “Not only will this be an amazing trip on one of our most recognisable and well-loved ships, but agents will be able to use and experience the Ocean Medallion so they can see for themselves just how beneficial it will be for their customers.”

Royal Princess will sail roundtrip from Southampton on May 1, 2018. It will call at Guernsey, Cork, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Invergordon, Edinburgh and Normandy.

Fam trip winners will be announced weekly via Princess Cruises’ Academy Facebook page from September 1 to November 30.
