Flybe appoints Ian Milne as interim chief financial officer

Ian Milne has been named as interim chief financial officer at Flybe.

He worked at British Airways/International Airlines Group for 20 years in a variety of roles, including IAG group financial controller and director of integration at BA.

He left BA last year to set up his own consulting business.

Milne, who joined the regional airline today (Tuesday) will assist outgoing chief financial officer Philip de Klerk, who leaves at the end of September.

He will then act as interim chief financial officer, pending appointment of a permanent candidate.

The search for that candidate is ongoing, the airline said.
