Cox & Kings launches tours of Rajasthan, Kerala and Sri Lanka

Cox & Kings has added four escorted tours and new experiences to its India & Beyond 2018-19 brochure to mark its 260th anniversary.

The operator’s new tours are a 16-day Passage through Rajasthan, from £2,495; 13-day Passage through Kerala, from £2,425; 14-day Taj, Tigers & Trains, from £2,895; and 14-day Sri Lanka Explorer, from £1,695.

The Passage through Rajasthan tour starts in Mumbai and includes Ranthambore National Park, the Taj Mahal and dinner in a 16th‑century stepwell.

The expanded collection also introduces slower-paced trips that can be tailor-made to spend longer in a location if requested.

Sri Lanka in Slow Motion is an 18-day suggested itinerary, priced from £3,995, which combines cultural sights with national parks and beach stays.

The brochure also includes new villa options in Goa and Sri Lanka.

Chief executive Peter Kerkar said: “We have added some really special new signature experiences.”

The tours aim to combine “unmissable” sights with lesser-known areas to appeal to first-time visitors and those returning to destinations, he added.
