United announces seasonal Heathrow-Denver service

A seasonal service between Heathrow and Denver is being introduced by United Airlines next summer.

Daily flights will run between March 25 and October 27 using 219-seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

The aircraft are configured with 36 flat-bed seats in business class and 183 in economy, including 70 seats with added legroom and increased personal space.

The flight has been timed to connect at Denver with more than 130 destinations on United’s US domestic network.

The US carrier’s UK and Ireland sales managing director Bob Schumacher said: “This new flight will strengthen our international route network and provide our U.K. customers with a nonstop service to one of our key hubs.

“Our customers will benefit from additional connections via our Denver hub to points across the US as well as popular destinations in and around Colorado and neighbouring states.”
