Terms and Conditions – P&O Cruises TV ad extra competition

1. The Promoter is Carnival plc trading as ‘P&O Cruises’ whose registered office is at Carnival House, 100 Harbour Parade, Southampton, SO15 1ST.

2. The competition is open to travel agents aged 18 or over who are residents of the UK and who are employed at by their travel agency between 26 July and 10 August 2017. Employees of Carnival plc (including group companies), their immediate family or any one directly connected with this competition is not eligible to enter.

3. The competition runs from 26 July 2017 until midnight 10 August 2017. After this date no further entries will be permitted.

4. There is one prize which is a cruise as detailed below and the chance to be seen on screen in the new P&O Cruises TV advert, to be aired from December 2017. The cruise is for up to 12 nights with £250.00 onboard spending money for the cabin. The winner will be allowed to bring one adult guest who will share the cabin with the winner. The guest will not be able to be present on set. The winner needs to be available from 6 – 13 September 2017. These dates are currently subject to change and should the winner not be able available a new winner will be selected.

5. The winner is invited to join the ship in Southampton on 4 September and stay on board until 16 September, but must be available for the period of 6 – 13 September to take part in the shoot.

6. Entries are made by submitting a 30 second video via comp.travelweekly.co.uk/BeAnExtra. The video must be your pitch as to why you should be chosen to be an extra in the advertisement. The more creative the better. The winning entry will be shared on our social media channels.

7. All intellectual property rights in the winning video will be assigned to Carnival plc. By submitting your entry you are confirming that your entry does not infringe a third parties copyright or other intellectual property rights.

8. The entries must be made directly by the individual who wishes to enter the competition. Entries cannot be made on the behalf of others.

9. There is no limit for the number of entries per person.

10. The winning entry will be chosen from all valid entries received. Entries will be judged by a judging panel of internal and external representatives. The Promoter’s announcement of the winning entry is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the winner cannot be contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to rejudge the entries and award the prize to a new winner.

11. Winners will be notified using the contact details provided at point of entry.

12. The prize does not include the following; travel between the winners’ home and any London airport or Southampton, travel insurance, meals in speciality restaurants, drinks, shore excursions, personal expenses, gratuities or incidental costs other than where mentioned and the winner is subject to our booking conditions.

13. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they have valid passports and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.

14. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

15. The winner will be required to sign the filming rights agreement prior to boarding. This will include an agreement for any media relating to this competition to be used worldwide, in perpetuity. The winner will also be required to sign a non disclosure agreement once they have accepted the prize.

16. The Winner agrees that the Promoter may use their name, image, agency name to announce the winner of this competition in any media including trade press and on www.completecruisesolution.com and for any other reasonable and related promotional and publicity purposes.

17. Acceptance of the prize by the winner is subject to the HR policy of the winner’s employer and the winner must have his or her line manager’s approval to be able to accept the prize. If the winner subsequently becomes subject to disciplinary action, the promoter reserves the right to withdraw any prize upon request of the winner’s employer. In the event income tax and/or national insurance liability arises in respect of the prize, this must be paid by the winning employee and it is a condition of accepting the prize that entrants agree they will be liable for this.

18. No responsibility will be accepted for any entries that are illegible, incomplete, lost or delayed in transit or which fail to be properly submitted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an entry to this competition.

19. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend and/or terminate this promotion in the event of unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control with no liability to entrants or third parties.

20. By taking part in this promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

21. The winner will be required to bring their own wardrobe options following a briefing from the Promoter.

22. If the winner’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate, they may be asked to leave the set and/or the ship
