Club Royal aims for 15,000 members with site makeover

Royal Caribbean’s agent loyalty programme has had a makeover as the line targets 15,000 members by the end of the year.

The Club Royal website has had a design refresh including a new colour scheme, banners, images and its own icons.

Agents can also earn £10 for every friend referred to join the loyalty club and will also receive a 20% discount code for Jamie’s Italian, a restaurant that features on Royal’s Oasis-class ships.

Nicki Lewis, head of sales support and planning, said: “We have been working on this for the last six months and we are always looking to evolve Club Royal.

“We are not changing the fundamentals of the site, because we know it works, and our travel partners love the simplicity.

“Our membership is about 12,400 at the moment, which is bigger than we ever thought it could be. But now we are aiming for 15,000 by the end of this year and hope to reach this with our refer-a-friend incentive.”

The website makeover will also feature branded icons to signal events and incentives, as well as specific areas on the site.

Other new features include a stamp-style logo and new fonts and colours.

Royal Caribbean will announce its next mega-fam competition in August for 15 agents to attend in a yet-to-be-announced location.

The new website and refer-afriend incentive was due to go live today (July 20).
