Newmarket Holidays has brought out its largest collection of escorted holidays by air – and hidden prize-winning “platinum tickets” for travel agents in 50 brochures.
The operator has added nearly 20 escorted tours, introduced four holidays in new destinations to its Hand-Picked Resorts range, and launched new upmarket, small‑group tours for 2018.
To mark the launch of its Holidays & Tours Collection brochure for 2017-19, Newmarket is running a platinum ticket promotion on the back of the success of its ‘golden ticket’ trade campaign in 2016 and earlier this year.
The tickets have been placed at random in brochure packs and agents who find a ticket could win a short-haul break for two, a West End break for two or a Samsung Galaxy tablet. There are also 47 £20 Love2shop vouchers available.
To redeem their prize, agents must post a photo of themselves with the ticket and the winning code to the operator’s Nic Newmarket Facebook page by July 31.
Sales manager Richard Forde said: “This is our most popular competition. We are hoping more tickets will be found this year.”
The operator’s expanded range of tours for 2018 includes a seven-day Best of the Scottish Highlands from £619 and 15-day Under African Skies – Victoria Falls to Cape Town trip from £2,999.
Four holidays have been added to its Hand-Picked Resorts range: in Tuscany, northern Cyprus, the Italian Riviera and Porec, Croatia – the latter from £469 for eight days. These aim to offer more‑relaxed trips than traditional tours.
The new premium, small‑group tours include a 16-day India’s Marigold Hotel Experience, from £1,995, which takes in Delhi, Rajasthan and Kerala.
Other new destinations offered include Peru and Costa Rica.
