APT adds Russian Waterways sailing to 2018-19 rivers range

APT has released its full river cruise brochure for 2018 and 2019 as it prepares to mark its 90th anniversary.

The River Cruising programme features new sailings in Russia with APT’s Luxury brand, plus Europe and Asia itineraries.

A 13-day Russian Waterways itinerary travels from Moscow to St Petersburg on the newly renovated Excellence Katharina, with prices starting form £4,095.

Angela Waite, APT head of sales and commercial, said the popularity of Russia sailings on its Premium brand led to it being introduced in its Luxury range.

The operator has also expanded the amount of excursions, known as Freedom of Choice, included in the price of its Luxury sailings; with more than 150 in 46 locations.

As the touring company marks 90 years since its formation it is giving agents the chance to attend anniversary events in September. One is a cookery lesson in London with celebrity chef and author Luke Nguyen on September 5.

For the chance to attend, agents must complete any APT online training module by August 23.
