Emirates Holidays UK announces management shake up

Senior level changes at Emirates Holidays UK have seen Ian Dines take on an expanded role and Vicky Robinson join as head of commercial.

Dines, who previously worked at Tui in numerous roles, becomes head of sales, service and business development while continuing to have direct accountability for the operator’s call centre, operations and trade sales teams.

He will also now take on overall responsibility for the delivery of key strategic initiatives across all parts of the Emirates Holidays UK business.

Company managing director Niel Alobaidi said: “Ian’s skills and experience in this area will be a major support in driving positive change, and we are confident he will play a significant role in enabling the business to continue to grow at the rate we’ve enjoyed over the last couple of years.”

Robinson will also be joining Emirates Holidays from her previous position as leisure sales manager for Emirates airline.

“In this brand new role to the Emirates Holidays UK business, she will take on overall responsibility for all of our commercial functions including website performance, marketing, product and pricing,” said Alobaidi.

“Vicky brings a great deal of commercial knowledge with her from a number of previous travel roles, including experience in a fast-moving online environment, and we are delighted to have her joining the team.

“After a period of sustained growth these two changes to the UK senior management team reaffirm our intent to keep pushing hard to take Emirates Holidays up to the next level in both sales and service.

“We very much look forward to an exciting next chapter in the evolution of Emirates Holidays.”
