A chef who worked for luxury tailor-made specialist Scott Dunn has died in Mallorca.

Paul Sutton, 58, was a private chef at one of the operator’s villas in Pollensa and had previously worked a season for the company in Val d’Isère.

In a statement the company said he died unexpectedly on Friday and his next of kin had been informed.

A spokeswoman for Scott Dunn said: “We are very sad to confirm that Paul Sutton, a chef for Scott Dunn, passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 19 in Mallorca.

“We are currently supporting them and working with the British consulate to offer assistance at this very difficult time.”

Scott Dunn, a direct-sell brand, was founded in 1986 and has offices in London and Chichester as well as San Diego and Singapore.
