Trafalgar capitalises on late bookings with 11 extra departures

Trafalgar is adding 11 departures to its sold-out Europe & Britain programme, in response to a surge in demand for this summer.

The operator said the move would help agents to capitalise on the late-booking trend.

The new departures, which do not feature in the brochure, are on July 14 and September 8 for the Imperial Europe itinerary; July 21 for Italian Holiday; July 26 and September 25 for Irish Experience; September 17 and 28 for Highlights of Spain and Portugal; September 20 and 23 for Scotland’s Highlands, Islands and Cities; September 23 for Best of Ireland and Scotland; and October 3 for Best of Portugal.

UK sales and business development director Ruth Hilton said: “Our priority is to ensure our industry partners feel fully equipped and have the confidence to sell our guided holidays with maximum ease.

“We are committed to helping agents on the journey to sales success, hence we’ve listened to valuable feedback from both trade and consumers, and are delighted to be able to confirm an extra 11 non-brochured departures for the 2017 European summer.”
