Norwegian announces £134 one-way transatlantic flights in Easter sale

Transatlantic flights starting at £134 one-way are being offered by Norwegian in a five-day Easter sale.

The airline is cutting 15% off fares from Gatwick to seven US cities as well as new routes from Belfast and Edinburgh to the US east coast.

Flights from Cork, Dublin and Shannon to the US are being offered from €117.

The flash sale runs from today until 10.59pm on Sunday covering a total of 17 routes to the US.

Savings from Gatwick to New York, Boston, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Oakland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas exclude travel during the summer peak between June 16 and September 3 but otherwise are available on flights from April 24 until December 14.

The discount is calculated on ‘net’ fares, excluding taxes and charges.

Flights from both Belfast and Edinburgh cover Providence airport for Boston and Stewart international airport for New York as well as flights from Scotland to Bradley international airport for New England for travel between June 15 and December 14.

The fare cuts from Ireland cover flights to Providence from Cork, Dublin and Shannon and from Dublin and Shannon to Stewart for travel between July 1 and December 14.

Chief commercial officer, Thomas Ramdahl, said: “Our five-day Easter fare-busting bonanza will give consumers the chance to enjoy further savings on 17 transatlantic routes from the UK and Ireland.

“These fantastic offers will provide passengers high quality flights at even more affordable fares, all while flying on one of the youngest and greenest fleets in the industry.”
