Martin Whittaker has been appointed as chief operating officer of bmi regional.
Whittaker joins from Babcock International Mission Critical Services, where he was a board level executive.
He has more than 35 years’ experience in the aviation industry and has held leadership roles in the airline, aircraft leasing and airborne critical services sectors.
Peter Simpson, chief executive of bmi regional, said: “Martin is a highly qualified, experienced and respected aviation executive, and we’re excited about the calibre of knowledge, business acumen and project management skills that he brings to our organisation.
