Tui UK finance director Colin McKinlay to join Center Parcs

Tui UK finance director Colin McKinlay is to join Center Parcs this summer.

McKinlay, who has worked for Tui as finance director of the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe region since 2010, has been appointed chief finance officer by the holiday parks operator.

Martin Dalby, chief executive of the Center Parcs Group, said: “The board of directors and I welcome Colin to Center Parcs. Colin has worked in tourism for virtually all of his career and brings with him a strong track record of delivering solid financial results in businesses of a size and scale not dissimilar to Center Parcs.”

Prior to working for Tui, McKinlay worked for MyTravel for nine years, becoming chief financial officer of MyTravel UK. He went on to become chief financial officer at Thomas Cook UK and Ireland before moving to Travelzest, were he was group finance director.

McKinlay’s start date at Center Parcs has yet to be confirmed. He replaces Paul Inglett at the group.

Nick Longman, TUI UK & Ireland managing director confirmed McKinlay’s departure and said a successor will be announced in “due course”.

He added: “We’d like to thank Colin for his outstanding contribution, leadership and counsel and we wish him the very best for his future.”
