Celebrity appoints Cook’s Zoe Edwards to strategic account role

Celebrity Cruises has appointed Zoe Edwards to the role of strategic account manager.

Edwards has worked for Thomas Cook for 12 years, most recently within its cruise team as senior partnership manager, and has more than 18 years of travel experience.

Her appointment follows the promotion of Nicola McNeish to head of sales in January.

Edwards will report into director of sales Claire Stirrup and will work alongside McNeish to manage and deliver support for the Thomas Cook and Tui accounts.

Stirrup said: “Zoe’s appointment is the latest exciting development in the growth of our team.

“She brings a wealth of knowledge and significant experience that I know will be a huge asset both for our team and our national accounts.

“Ahead of the launch of Celebrity Edge it is an exciting time for Celebrity Cruises and we look forward to continuing to work with all our partners with an expert team in place to continue to offer support and guidance.”

Edwards began her new role on February 27.
